Kyle's Very Nice Paper Layer

These three digital paper images are great for adding that last little bit of 'oomph' to your illustration. The texture is very nice for all mediums (pencils, inks, paint, pastel ...). Maybe I'll make more of these textures in the future, if there is enough interest.

HOW TO USE: You can use the paper image on a layer on top of your art and set its blending mode to Multiply, Linear Burn, Overlay, Soft light, or any combination you like. Set the layer opacity to adjust the intensity of the effect. You can also use it as your Background layer to break up the monotony of working on a solid white background. I like using these for digital life drawing, for example. For those of you who like to emulate watercolor digitally, this paper works nicely, as well.

There are THREE Jpgs included, so you have medium, dark and light options.

NOTE: the files are large, but not enormous (3000x3000 pixels). You could easily size them up a bit and add a 'Sharpen' filter if you wanted to use them on bigger illustrations, though.

Pro tip: If you choose to use the paper image in Overlay or Soft Light mode, use the darker version that is included. This will ensure that the values in your illustration don't shift significantly.
